A Mistake During an Endovascular Aneurysm Repair

Margaret Vance, MSN, RN, CNOR, NPD-BC, shares a story about the time she accidentally disengaged a custom-made graft during an endovascular aneurysm repair. Although it was “absolute panic mode” at first, the team worked together to ensure that the patient received a graft that was working properly. Her advice: “Be comfortable enough to be uncomfortable and ask for help.”
