Emergency Preparedness Tool Kit

Purpose

This tool kit provides perioperative nurses with evidence-informed resources to strengthen preparedness for natural disasters by promoting risk awareness and proactive planning. The contents are intended for preparedness activities and are not designed for real-time use during an event. During disasters, perioperative teams should follow their organization's established policies, procedures, and incident command directives.
