Train New Ambulatory Surgery Nurses for the Operating Room

Periop 101: A Core Curriculum ASC is the premier perioperative education program for nurses entering the ambulatory surgery setting. The course provides pre-op and post-op care training for ASC nurses to ensure optimal outcomes for patients. Preview the 24 learning modules.

Periop 101 ASC features a hybrid format, building a solid evidence-based practice foundation through classroom and online learning, plus clinical experience to reinforce what they've learned. The program is continually updated to reflect the latest AORN Guidelines for Perioperative Practice. Graduate-level QSEN competencies are also included.

Hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers that use Periop 101 report quality improvement, reduced training time for staff and educators, and stronger recruitment and retention.
